In this section we the list research papers and statistics on the various aspects of childhood sexual abuse, and adult rape, plus their effects, that we have managed to locate on the internet. Most of these will be of more interest to researchers, therapists and collage lectures than to most survivors themselves; however, some survivors find that reading such research papers can help survivors to feel less alone in what they have been through.

Survivors are warned that since such research papers are usually written for other professionals to read, that they may be triggering in the bluntness and general way that they present things.
